185 - It Stands On Its Wheels

Now my TA01 stands on its four wheels, electronics is in place but probably I will swap the Hobbyking ESC with the MTroniks Tio Storm X to avoid problems due to the 14x2 motor I've installed. I don't want to buy another set of tie-rods so I will built it out from a threaded shaft: easy-peasy.
Body is choosen and bought: a Civic, the queen of sleepers.

184 - Random Build!

This build became a true random build in a few of weeks due to the wait for the parts needed: the cleaning of the plastic parts became hard because of the mixture of old grease and aluminum debris coming from the gears so I've decided to go for new plastics and for a full set of plastic gears. Differentials are geared and not the balls to avoid much maintenance (here in Venice I haven't a permanent workbench) and all theese parts hae been ordered in different places so different time for deliveries and a build that depends by this and not by a manual: a random build!
This saturday I've found an hour or to to speed up with the build: transmission in place, different setup for the differentials, a little fight to find the correct screws and a little mistake during the build.

183 - Doubts

Time to spend in the hobby are ever shorter and this week have been enough only for roughly clean some gears. At a more deeply valuation I hhave to admit that some parts are not suitable for this project and that, before buying, it will be necessary a new search in my TA-01 used stuff box.
