190 - Esc... again!

I've been forced to buy a new ESC for my TA01 project: weeks ago testing cables layout I've switched on the fresh bought KO ESC accidentally  and I fried it. Shame on me! So I've decided for this TT60 from Mtroniks that I guess less delicate but efficent enough compared to the popular chinese alternative. Choosing quality componets is more satisfying IMO.

189 - More Than A Year!

It's from over than a year that I'm building this car, of course, the build is long due to less time to dedicate to my RC but the search for the parts I want has taken its time and choices hasn't be so easy (and two months of lockdown far from my Tamiya stuff due to Covid have not helped). The search for the body have been the hardest due to the poor quality of the alternatives and, at the end, it finish were it was started: Lancia Delta HF Integrale from Tamiya. Also for electronics I've decided to go for a Japan made Ko Propo VFS FR2 ESC instead to continue with the popular Quicrun 1060.

188 - My Longest Build, My Biggest (RC) Challenge

The restomod project involving my TA01 is started in August 2019 and near but not so close to be finished. Of course a lot of time have been spent to find the parts I need, to made some corrections, to decide about the electronics and to find a proper body but most is due to my moving in Venice were I have no room to play with my little cars. Anyway found the body (Alfa Romeo Giulia Super) a challenge in to the challenge will be about the painting of body. Hope all will go well cause, I guess, for a long time I will not build a car anymore.

187 - Last Weeks Recap

After the purchase of two NiMH powerpacks I've bought a new charger more compact than my old Hyperion and with improved specs.

My TA01 project have been completed with a proper body: Lancia 037 from TBG a repro of the Chevron Models one. Now I have to paint it! :-)

Last but not least something that I couldn't resist: a custom carbon fiber chassis perfect match for a Group B body.
