124 - End Of Craft Works

This week was focused on the end of the aluminum craft works: after 3 attempts I built the battery strap I've figured and I made a strut to strenghten the longer damper pivots needed when MadCap lower arms are used in front.

123 - Winged!

This week after an attempt to polish the chassis and a better solution for the upgrade of the supports for the bell cranks I've cutted, assembled and decorated the wing... awaiting for the next order of parts.
The main stickers came from the crazy stickers shop we found in Kichijoji last november.

122 - Invisible Works

This week, with the of parts received, I've done a lot of works. The car was already assembled in a car shape but with uniballs, ballends and turnbuckles in place it looks much complete. I've completed it with the bumper and the wing holder so, now, is almost time to make another order for other parts.
The huge amount of e-rings received allowed me to install the suspensions arms, they comes from the MadCap so they required some minor trims. MadCap arms are definetely to soft so the will twist under power. To solve (or to limit) this issue I'm planning (with ORB Racing guys from the Netherlands) to 3D print a new and improved version of the suspensions arms.

121 - Awaiting The Postman

This week I spent the days of waiting for the postman in mumbling about the battery holder I've made last week. Ok, I'm never completely satisfied but this time it,s impossible to admit that something better could be done.
I made an attempt with PVC but I didn't like it (it much soft and it needs to be painted) so I decided to modify the aluminum part I made last week, here the results.

I took inspiration from the modern Lipo holder so I removed the "horn" previously made and a little of material from the inner edge. It will be completed with some of the parts received today.

Finally the postman is arrived so I've got many stuff (36 packs!) to going on with the build.
