The great warm seems to be finished so I found the forces to mask and paint the body that now is almost finished: it needs only some minor finishings, trimming and stickers.

141 - Alps!
Over 38 degrees outside and around 35 degrees in my cave I can't find the forces to go on with my projects. So I did a day trip in the alps: no mushrooms but smiling soul.

140 - It Stands On Its Own Legs
The stuff received last week allowed me to complete the Hilux bearings equipment, to renew the four dampers (at the first attempt I've used the wrong mounting holes) and to complete the steering linkages.
I've decided to keep the digbones setup and to decide in a future If spending a fortune for the originals unis or if modify the rear end to allow the use if modern ones.
I've also decided to modify the dampers pivots... but nothing so drastic: different screws, spacers and locking nuts.
