244 - Another Motor Option For The Incoming BBX

The wait for the Tamiya BBX I've preordered a few of weeks ago is long to end so mumbling about this new car became the main activity.

Considering that the two motor options I was considering didn't convince me in deep in terms of turns I've started to look around to find something else maybe new, brushed and for definetely not chinese.

On the bay I've found this beaty and brand new Team Orion Element 19 turns that I hope would be a good choiche for the newest Tamiya.

I hope also that the days until the delivery will pass more quickly because I'm buying to much stuff in the wait.

243 - TC Membership Expired

My Tamiyaclub membership as expired and, after many years, I will not renew it.

It isn't for controversy with the club but I don't like the turn this hobby took: RC cars that look as static models, dolls in the cars and models built for the shelves.

To well explain my point of view a longer post and a better english would be needed and I don't want to became pedantic.

This blog (that sometimes I've neglected) is the place were share the way I intend this hobby, no matter if there are no "likes" or comments and if it is like talking alone: I like it! And I like it because it's like what I dreamt in front of the windows of my local hobby shop are becoming true.

242 - My Vintage Yokomo Motors

 

With the last addition of the Wing Stock my vintage Yokomo motors family now counts of 4 members.

Around the Web I've read that some of them are nothing less than Reedy Modified rebranded Yokomo... great!

To be honest I'm mostly fascinated by the Wing serie than the others and, if possible, I would trade with pleasure my Super Wing with a Wing 2.
