188 - My Longest Build, My Biggest (RC) Challenge

The restomod project involving my TA01 is started in August 2019 and near but not so close to be finished. Of course a lot of time have been spent to find the parts I need, to made some corrections, to decide about the electronics and to find a proper body but most is due to my moving in Venice were I have no room to play with my little cars. Anyway found the body (Alfa Romeo Giulia Super) a challenge in to the challenge will be about the painting of body. Hope all will go well cause, I guess, for a long time I will not build a car anymore.

187 - Last Weeks Recap

After the purchase of two NiMH powerpacks I've bought a new charger more compact than my old Hyperion and with improved specs.

My TA01 project have been completed with a proper body: Lancia 037 from TBG a repro of the Chevron Models one. Now I have to paint it! :-)

Last but not least something that I couldn't resist: a custom carbon fiber chassis perfect match for a Group B body.

186 - Leaving The Modern Era: Back To NiMHs

I've purchased a pair of comfortable and stress-free 5000 NiMH!
I've seriously and proudly tried to enter the moder era but when 2 of the 6 Lipos I've bought during this years started to bulge I've decided to throw them apart: my fault for sure!
I do not drive often my little cars and after my moving in Venice I haven't neither a proper workbench to take care of my RC stuff so I've decided to switch back to NiMHs.
Of course I will not start to wear animal fur and to carry a wooden club but, for a while, I will comfortably remain in the NiMH limbo.
