237 - Forced Break

No chance to sit at the work bench this week, so long days of doubts about Wild One gearing with its new motor have been spent.

236 - It's All To Be Redone

Last week I was very happy to have some time over than usual to work on my Wild One but, when I've been on the workbench, I've been grabbed by a kind of rush to finish as much as possible and by the anxiety do all in the best way that, in the end, almost all I've done is a crap.

Ok, the Dirt Tuned Motor is in place with its pinion but the cables soldering are awful... and I did it twice! I made better soldering when I was 15 with the cheap supermarket soldering iron I own at that time. I will do it for the third time.

The cabling inside the car is rough to my standards, I prefer doing it in a much tider way but I wasn't in the righ mood, clearly. Better times will come.

235 - The Magic Tape

Almost a year ago during the painting of my Delta Ray Buggy I've made a trick with some adhesive cut offs to gain a decent finishing. Considering that the results wasn't bad I've bought on Amazon a chrome finishing tape to use, if needed, in the futures paintings.

A body change for my Wild One is not expected soon so I've decided to try to revitalize it using the magic tape I've saved for the right opportunity.

I have to admit the it's very easy to use, the result on this old lexan body is not so good but is good enough for a quick and coarse laying and it will be better for sure when more accurate.
