241 - Pre-ordered!

As many guys around the globe, I've, finally, (pre)ordered my 58719 Tamiya BBX that is expected on as many work benches by the end of july,

It's the first time that I pre order a kit but I'm convinced that this time worth it: to me this car will be a milestone in Tamiya lineup as few other cars of the golden era. Of course Tamiya has released many amazing cars but only a few can be considered as true game changer and the new BBX will be one of them for sure to me.

Side note: this is my first kit since 2018.

240 - Team Yokomo Wing Stock Motor RF/23T

 

Well the Yokomo Wing Stock motor purchased on the Ebay two weeks ago have been delivered. I'm very happy to welcome it in my small collection of motors but I've been not able to take a family shot because of some heavy tidy up works at my parents home were all my RC stuff is stored.

The seller claimed that the motor were kept as spare and barely used and I have to admit that except for some minor imperfections (mostly on its sticker) and the goofy cables it comes in good conditions: brushes seem very little worn-out, internals look shiny and there are not carbon deposits around the endbell.

239 - Being An Accountant

During the last two years I've put together a discrete number of vintage motors mostly bought under the mood of the moment but without any criteria so I'm not prone to call it "collection".

Considering that I'm an accountant at some point I'm always forced to put order so I've decided to sell some motors and keep only my Yokomos, my LRPs, the two motors I've bought in the good old days and, of course, all my Tamiyas.

For connoisseurs...

... don't ask.

For serious Reedy collectors...

... it needs a lot of love, price will be bargain...

... I guess it will be on auction sale on the Bay...

... It's refubed and tested (touring motor)...

... in doubt to sell them in couple ore one by one.

238 - Another Wing To My Yokomo Motor Collection

Well, during the last days I've discovered this pearl on sale on the Bay. I'm insanely fascinated by Yokomo motors, they were the exotic pairing for Yokomo cars on the rare japanese advs I could see in the good old days so, even this time I couldn't resist to place my offer that have been the winning one.

I don't know if it have been overpriced but it's something I've never seen before and the seller claims that it have been barely used because it was kept as spare, can't wait to have it in my hand.

My new Wing Stock motor will be in good fellowship with this other two of the Wing family...

... and with this more recent Pro Stock II 17 turns.
